The Objectives of the St. Catharines and District Kennel and Obedience Club are:
* encourage and assist breeders whenever possible
* encourage and assist those interested in obedience by recommending training classes/schools and hosting obedience trials
* encourage and assist those interested in conformation shows by conducting sanction matches, handlers' training classes and conformation shows
* encourage and assist those interested in field trial work by taking an active interest in clubs holding field trials
* set a goal which will ultimately benefit all purebred dogs for their betterment and strive toward the culmination of this goal. Assist in all ways possible those acts involving purebred dogs which intend to further and/or protect the property and interests of the country and inhabitants
* further the interests and protect the bylaws of the Canadian Kennel Club
